Texting Terms

Last updated 28 September 2026

roster is an app where freelancers and their clients run their work together. These terms cover the text messages roster relays between a freelancer and a client. roster is operated by Franco Projects LLC.

1. What these texts are

If a freelancer you work with has added your mobile number to roster, they can message you by text. Those texts come from a roster number assigned to your relationship with that freelancer — never the freelancer's own number — and your replies to that number reach them. The same number stays with that relationship for as long as it lasts.

They are one-to-one conversation texts between you and a freelancer you work with. roster does not send marketing or promotional texts.

2. How you come to receive them

You give your mobile number to a freelancer you are working with, and they add it to roster to keep in touch with you about that work. Freelancers agree to add a number only with the client’s agreement.

You can stop at any time by replying STOP, and you never need to install the app to reply. If you join the app, you can keep receiving the texts there as well.

3. What you will receive

Messages written by the freelancer, replies in the same conversation, and occasionally a payment request or a link to pay the freelancer securely on keeproster.com.

4. How often

Message frequency varies with your conversation — you get a text when the freelancer messages you.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. roster does not charge you for receiving or sending these texts; your mobile carrier’s normal rates apply.

6. Stopping, restarting, and help

Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from that number; you will get one text confirming it and no more after that. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or email support@keeproster.com. The freelancer is told that you opted out.

Other words that also stop texts: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT. UNSTOP also restarts them, and INFO also asks for help.

7. Your number and privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party, except the texting provider (Twilio) that delivers the messages for us and may use your number only to do that.

How roster handles your information is in the Privacy Policy at keeproster.com/privacy.

8. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Contact
